The Quotidian • Last activity 31/Oct

This group is for those who would like to establish some momentum in their writing practice. The rules are as follows: Each member will write and post something every day. That something could be notes for a novel you're drafting, the transcription of a dream you had the night before, a haiku about dog poop, a letter to your mother. Anything goes. If you are camping and have no computer, scribble something and take a picture. If it's late at night and you're exhausted, write a post admitting that you didn't write and get it up there. Just post every day.

Please refrain from making value judgements on the work of any other member, even positive ones. That means no comments on particular pieces, or critiques. Please also refrain from using any excerpts of another person's writing without first seeking permission. You are under no obligation to read the pieces posted by others. The point is accountability. What you CAN post as a member (besides your writing or musings about your writing) are general comments, e.g. "Yay! We made it to Day 15" or "This group is the cat's meow."

NOTE: Due to the format of this group, you will receive daily emails. Keep in mind that you are under no obligation to read them. If you wish to change the frequency of these emails, click on the little wheel next to the title of the group and choose Notifications.
