Pacing: What to Cut, What to Keep, and What Order to Put It In


In this talk we’ll learn to create stories that capture and keep a reader’s attention from word one. We’ll discuss strategies for dealing with saggy middles, slow openings, and unsatisfying development, as well as learn to vary tension and, most importantly, eliminate the boring parts.
