Deep Scene - Part 1
In this class, we’ll take a deep dive into the fundamental building blocks of fiction: scenes. Moving quickly through foundational principles, we’ll explore different approaches to scene structure, how scenes function as part of the whole story, and how to ensure your scenes are solid and dynamic, formed by your characters’ goals and desires in the story. Expect to take a close look at your own scenes and to generate ideas for new ones. This will be a lively, hands-on class.
